Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). It is a quick procedure with few to no adverse effects and has quickly gained popularity among many estheticians! Removing epidermal skin allows products and superficial chemical peels to penetrate easier into skin. Dermaplaning is most often used on patients with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing” appearance. Review and discuss this modality, how it works, applications and treatment options. This is a hands-on class. You will partner with another attendee.
