Used in Aesthetic procedures such as "Dermaplaning" which helps to "refinish" the skin's top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping. 

Dermaplaning can be performed on small areas of skin or on the entire face and can be used alone or in conjunction with other procedures such as a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or fluorescent pulsed light (FPL). Dermaplaning, when performed prior to other treatments, can remove the "peach fuzz" which can trap excess dirt and oil. 

It is non-invasive and helps make other skin treatments more effective. 

Swann-Morton sterile disposable scalpels are sealed individually in trays, and boxed in units of 10. The latest model carries a graduated measure on the reverse of the handle (for indication only) to mirror our range of metal stainless handles and is marked with the CE symbol which previously only appeared on the outer product packaging. The sterile scalpels are individually packaged into a new transparent thermo formed tray providing improved product visibility and developed to assist in safe passing techniques. When peeling the packet the seal changes colour thus indicating if the integrity of the packet has been breached and assuring the user of sterility up to the point of usage.
